HARALD KIMBAZ
Harald Kimbaz was born in 1972 in Austria. He is a self-taught photographer and does not have any formal education in art.
Since 2006 he has created a number of projects. One of them is „HOMELAND“ where he focusses on the suburbs of his homeland in a documentary style. The observer is invited to read the picture, to imagine how people live there, or just to see typical colors of the time.
His latest body of work „THE WALK“ shows the exploration of suburban landscapes in a narrative form; the observer finds himself in a position of walking.
His work has been exhibited at the Metropolitain Art Fair in Vienna, 2012.
Harald Kimbaz is currently experimenting with different styles, including the impression of color, abstract compositions and narrative photography. He lives and works in Austria.
