My family and I live in a small house with a fine garden. I like hot summer days, swimming in the pool, grilling and relaxing. We live nearby a forest, where you come to when you walk along a partly maintained street. The forest is another place where I can relax my mind.

The perception of the human beeing in the form of seeing is the central topic of this project. While seeing the obvious you can ask yourself „What‘s the obvious?“ Sitting in the garden someone will see the neighbor’s house or kids playing there. Sitting in the living room you may see a newspaper on the table or just watch TV. The works in THE OTHER VIEW give you an alternative to the obvious, whatever the obvious seems to be.

The photographs of the series Landscape are best described as traditional landscapes with a strong focus on the wideness and general beauty of nature.

Either selected by man or by nature, every country and every culture has its own usage of typical colors. It‘s an interesting experience for me that for example the Spanish use an other yellow than the French do.
The pictures are abstract, timeless and titled with place.

Unemotional and without eye-catcher, my color photographs of the series homeland show the topographics of the suburbs I live in a descriptive and documentary style. The observer is invited to read the picture and so to see typical colors, shapes, how people live there, and banal but for the culture and time typical things.
